Review by the winner of the Vision Forum giveaway:
The Witherspoon School of Law and Public Policy is full of history lessons we can trust. There is no revisionism here. Instead, the listener is called to learn straight from the sources' mouths, as it were. These messages are sorely needed.
Doug Phillips asks the question: “How do you live in a culture that has turned its back upon God's law?” This set seeks to answer that and other complex questions. There are no quick and easy answers. We live in a society that is rapidly and determinedly losing its morals and values. All who call themselves “Christian” are morally obligated to educate themselves in the issues addressed in this set.
I would advise that certain of these messages not be listened to by younger children, but older teens to adults certainly need to hear them. We need to prepare our children to live as Christians in an increasingly hostile society. In order to do that, we ourselves need to be knowledgeable in this area.

To answer some questions we've been getting:
Erinn's TEST RESULTS:
Mono - negative
Lyme Disease - negative
CBC - normal results
CMP - normal results
Fifth Disease - unknown results because the doctor refused to test for it, saying "She doesn't have fifth disease or she would have a rash on her face. She doesn't have the symptoms of it, so I won't test for it."
Too bad that doctor didn't know that you don't have to have the rash on the cheeks to have fifth disease.
I am not convinced that she has Fifth Disease, but it sure would have been nice to find out one way or the other!

PJ is not a normal deer. He can't jump fences. Here he is, begging me to let him through so he can eat with the goats. Normally, he stays in the back with Darlin' because she is nicer to him than the goats are, and he actually eats a good bit of her feed.
I havent posted in a long time because:
1. IT'S SPRING! Which means babies everywhere. Milking, gardening, soap making, homeschooling (as always) and MORE!
2. Erinn has had a fever since March 15. We've ruled out a lot of things, but still dont know what is wrong with her. Her regular doctor and one of his partners gave up and they'd love to have seen the last of us, which can be arranged! (Gladly.)
Twice she has had bouts with allergies, but mostly she just has a fever. A tiny bit of nausea off and on. A fever, which day after day wears her out, and makes her miserable. She spends most of her time in bed or on the couch.
We are trying to get her an appointment with an allergist this week.
Chocolate-Peppermint cookies! Or cake slices...
This one is Lavender.
