It's a nice balmy 80* and Erinn is curled up on the couch, wrapped in a quilt.
Kris and Mooky have gone over to a neighbor's house to do yard work and see about fixing her mower and weed eater.
There are chicks everywhere and a few keets too! In the incubator. On the deck in a big wooden box. And outside beside the storeroom in a pen. Not to mention all the free ranging adults who supply us with over a dozen fresh eggs daily.
I only have 2 orphans today since I found a home for the other 2 yesterday. I am enjoying my one day of peace before I get the 3 that are scheduled to arrive here tomorrow.
OUR GARDEN IS GROWING! Praise the Lord. I had honestly given up on it. I have been weeding like crazy.
I found a camera cord on ebay for less than $4 with free shipping! So, hopefully when that arrives I will be able to upload pictures again.
In the meantime, here are some from photobucket.
This is Erinn's glycerin soap sitting on a knitted thingie that Kiwi made.

We have had a lot of rain, and are so thankful for it! But, that means that we got behind on laundry. I am off to hang as many loads as I can fit on the clothesline.

Confession
In 17 years of marriage I have never bought anything but the cheap white or the cheap brown rice. Until now! No wonder Kris never ever liked my fried rice. The kids loved it, no matter how gooey it was. But, I really dont like cooking meals that the whole family wont eat, because I end up cooking two meals.
A week or so ago I daringly bought some basmati rice and cooked it up, then stuck it in the fridge overnight. The next day I made the best fried rice ever! The kids raved over it and Kris liked it. He ate it and didnt complain - that's what counts. He did not love it, but at least we are making progress! :o)
Erinn is having a worse week than she did last week. On Wednesday the allergist said she doesn't have airborne type allergies or a sinus infection, or anything at all wrong that he could find.
